INTRODUCING MAX

Max is a ten-year-old rat terrier who's deaf. His mom passed on and he needed a home so I've adopted him. He's very sweet and quiet and tiny. He's adapting very nicely and he and Andy get along really well. Andy seems very happy to have another little guy around the house.

Max is his name, though he wouldn't know one way or another. So he's Max Maxey.

With Max came a little box of belongings, emphasizing for me that he really is an orphan. Among his meager possessions was this chic hand-stitched faux leather jacket with big brown buttons. Like Lucy, he gets very cold, and he seems to like to wear this coat around the house. I'm not sure what he uses the pocket for.

Here Max models his jacket.

GINGER AND LUCY MEMORIAL

I bought this memorial for the spot where I plan to put some of Ginger and Lucy's ashes, but that spot isn't sunny enough to charge the solar light, so here is where it will go. I have another marker in mind for their ashes.

Lucy and Ginger were really an extraordinary pair. They taught me a lot. I miss them so much.
